The beveled edge creates the appearance of tongue and groove wall planking both inside and out. Their height gives these Appalachian-style logs an extra visual impact.  Can be chinked if you want that look too!  We also offer this log with a hand-hewned surface, instead of a smooth surface.  Call for a quote.
