Log & Timber Defense - Exterior - Wood and Log Stain

Log and Timber Defense penetrates into the wood like an oil coating, but unlike oils, it hardens into a lattice, supporting and strengthening the natural wood fibers to protect the wood from the inside out. Log & Timber Defense is easy to apply and maintain, and is ideal for wood siding and trim, timber frame, beams, board and batten, rough cut surfaces.

Application Temperature:

• 40 - 95 Degrees Fahrenheit 

Application Methods:

• Airless sprayer
• Brush, Roller, Application Pads
• Back-brush into surface
• Refer to product label for application instructions

Surface Preparation:

• Clean and dry
• Free of mold and mildew
• Never use steel wool

Special instructions:

• Back-brushing required
• Stir container every 15 minutes
• Maintain a wet edge to avoid lap marks
• Avoid applying in direct sun
• Apply first coat liberally to the point of saturation with a follow-up coat before the first coat dries

Drying Time:

• Dry to the touch in 45 minutes
