EZ Timber "Starter" brackets are specially designed for the first stair tread or step. They are manufactured at a shorter length allowing the first tread to sit flush against the floor or landing for proper stair height and a clean appearance.

Use Starter Brackets for:

• The first step off the floor
• The first tread off of a landing

For all remaining stair treads, use EZ Timber Metal Stair "Regular" Brackets.
